“Brother, thank you so much for creating such a special space. Honestly, I’ve been to men’s circles before and I’ve never felt so grounded yet empowered. I’ll see you next time”

Ben F.

what is a men's circle?

A men’s circle is simply a guided space where men come together to speak honestly about what’s going on in their lives. It might be something heavy, something you’re proud of or something you don’t fully understand yet. You don’t need to prepare anything, just come as you are.

It is a chance to share without being fixed, analysed or judged and to actively listen to what is going on for other men. Most of us will recognise parts of our own experience in what we hear in others, thus building connection.

NATHAN AUSTEN

Men's & Women's coach, meditation teacher + tattoo artist

I'm a tattoo artist and a coach. My journey into this work started around 16 years ago when I moved from London to Monte Sahaja and dedicated my life since to meditation, self enquiry with my teacher Mooji.

The years since leaving the ashram have been about integrating what I learned into ordinary life. It has been practical, messy, confronting, human and real.

My focus is simple. Helping men become more grounded, present, honest and more capable in themselves, their relationships and in their lives.

What can you expect?

01

Meditation

We start with a guided meditation to bring everyone into presence, into the body. It is a chance to arrive properly, slow down and to leave the world aside for the moment.

02

Partner Sharing

From there, we move into partner sharing. This allows you to speak and be heard in a more intimate setting before opening up to the full group.

03

Main sharing

After that, we come back together and each man has the opportunity to share with the whole circle while the others listen attentively.

04

Follow up questions

Anything that has come up during the session or anything that feels alive for you, can be brought forward for reflection or guidance.

faq

Do I have to speak?

You are invited to share, not forced. That said, the circle works when men participate.

Is everything confidential?

Yes. What we share in the circle stays in the circle. No stories, names or personal details are to be discussed outside of it.

Can I give advice to others?

We practice listening without fixing. If someone wants reflection or coaching, they can ask for it at the end.

What kind of men attend?

Men from all backgrounds. There is no “type.”

What do I need for an online session?

A quiet private space, headphones and a stable connection. A pen and paper at hand. Cameras on.

Is this spiritual?

There will be meditation and grounding practices but you do not need to be spiritual or have any prior experience.
